Colon Hydrotherapy Screening Process & Informed Consent
At Selah Cleansing Arts, we prioritize your safety and well-being. Professionally administered colon hydrotherapy is generally safe for most individuals, but it’s important to consult your doctor if you have any health concerns prior to scheduling with us.
You are NOT a candidate for colon hydrotherapy/colonics if you are currently diagnosed with any of the following:
- Lupus
- Diverticulitis
- Ulcerative colitis
- Crohn's disease
- Severe hemorrhoids
- Rectal or intestinal tumors
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- Congestive heart failure
- Organic valve disease
- Severe anemia
- GI hemorrhage/perforation
- Cirrhosis of the liver
- Fissures or fistulas
- Abdominal hernia
- Renal insufficiency
- recent abdominal surgery
TRANSPARENCY OF RISK & LIABILITY
For clients 18 and under, parents or legal guardians must provide consent and in doing so acknoledge that you release all claims against Selah Cleansing Arts LLC, the owner, therapist and all associates; Additionally, if you have recently undergone chemo or radiation therapy, experienced an aneurysm, or had colon surgery, colon hydrotherapy may not be appropriate for you. Pregnant women should consult their physician before treatment and may only receive therapy during the second trimester; by scheduling an appointment with Selah Cleansing Arts, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own risk and agree to our terms and conditions of service, which hold Selah Cleansing Arts, Mina Marziano, and all associates blameless for any adverse reactions, including but not limited to serious injury or even death.
