Mina is the esteemed Clinical Director and Lead Colon Hydrotherapist at Selah Cleansing Arts, deeply committed to holistic health—a passion rooted in her own transformative health journey. After battling an autoimmune condition for nearly 30 years, she found strength and healing through natural therapies, an experience that has deeply shaped her approach to wellness.
With over 13 years of experience in the medical field, including both corporate administration and personalized patient care coordination, Mina has assisted with going on 20,000 colon hydrotherapy sessions, establishing herself as a recognized authority in the field. As a devoted mother of three, she balances her professional life with a love for the outdoors, gardening, travel, sailing, and nutrition-focused cooking—interests that further enrich her holistic approach to health and wellness.
Mina's commitment to colon hydrotherapy sets her apart in the industry. Unlike many colon hydrotherapists who typically receive only 10 days of in-person training in addition to required online coursework, Mina’s training included over five weeks of in-person instruction under Rebecca Harder, a provisional International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) instructor. She also benefited from ongoing mentorship and hands-on learning throughout her years working with Rebecca. Mina's expertise was further expanded during her role as Clinic Manager and sole Colon Hydrotherapist at Colon Care LLC until 2022, where she honed an advanced clinical approach to colon hydrotherapy using Angel of Water open systems.
Mina's professional journey took an important turn when she discovered that her original mentor was no longer in the position to certify her through I-ACT due to the expiration of her instructor-level certification in 2011 and decision not to renew. This led Mina to seek further professional development, which she found through Tara Alder at Alderbrook Healing Arts. Under Tara’s guidance, Mina became certified to operate the LIBBE—an open colon hydrotherapy system. Mentorship with Tara not only expanded her technical knowledge but also helped her forge a deeper connection with clients. Through this mentorship, Mina embraced the Hawaiian concept of “When Can,” a philosophy that encourages doing the best you can with what you have, "when you can." This philosophy has deeply influenced Mina’s approach to health, focusing on meeting clients where they are and supporting them as they take manageable steps toward wellness.
Mina’s personal and professional experiences with colon hydrotherapy have inspired her to create a practice focused on advanced detox protocols and cutting-edge technology. She utilizes gentle, non-invasive techniques that prioritize client comfort and privacy, ensuring each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual.
At Selah Cleansing Arts, Mina fosters a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to pursue their health and wellness goals. Her vast expertise, compassionate care, and personal success in overcoming health challenges continue to inspire those she works with, solidifying her as a trusted leader in the field of colon hydrotherapy. Mina remains deeply dedicated to helping others achieve optimal health and vitality through her holistic approach and expert guidance.
